From Coir to Biochar: A Commitment to Sustainability

Jack’s move to Carbo Culture is driven by his passion for sustainability and his belief in the potential of biochar to benefit both people and the planet. He sees this role as an opportunity to make a real difference and contribute to a greener future. Jack’s deep understanding of raw materials and their impact on the entire value chain, coupled with his strong negotiation and relationship-building skills make him well-suited for this role. His experience in sales and business operations, particularly in small, dynamic companies, will be invaluable as he works to secure reliable raw material flows for Carbo Culture’s agribusiness sites.

Overcoming Challenges and Embracing Growth to Secure Sustainable Raw Materials

Jack is no stranger to challenges, having worked in small companies where adaptability and quick decision-making are essential. He is eager to learn about Carbo Culture’s processes and requirements for biomass to build a strong network of suppliers. Jack’s primary goal is to secure a consistent supply of the right material at the right price and volume. He recognises this is a key challenge but is confident that his experience and focus will enable him to achieve this goal. Eventually, his work will directly impact the quality, volume, and price of the biochar produced, contributing to the company’s overall success.

Jack encourages suppliers interested in being part of the solution to climate change to contact him. He is excited to be part of a company that is leading the way in carbon removal and looks forward to building strong relationships with suppliers who share this vision.
